T.I. Released Early!

Just in time for the Christmas season , rapper T.I. has been released from prison! He is still set to continue the last three months of his sentence in a half way house. =/

The news comes to a surprise to the entire industry as T.I. was slated to serve at least three more months at the Arkansas Forrest City prison. The rapper was abruptly released from the facility and is currently in route to Atlanta to serve the rest of his time in a half way house.

Well, anything is better than being confined in a prison behind bars 24/7! I'm happy he was released, and I can't wait for some new music. If his new album is anything like Paper Trail was, I'm super excited for it!

#OOP! Que Kicked out of Day26!

I'm still puzzled as to why people are making this Day26 split shit a big deal. I mean, the group was just another victim of the Bad Boy curse. The first album was my shit, but after a flopped sophomore album, flopped singles, and just a loss of hype, it was only a matter of time. Sigh. Que has been kicked out the group. The news first got out when Que posted this tweet on his twitter:

wow..im soo hurt RT now i just recieved a letter from day26 saying they r moving foward without me...im so confused..what did i do?.........

 Why is Day26 sending out letters like they somebody? I just can't with the irony. Here's a video Que made, explaining that the "real" reason he had problems with the group was because of their manager Screwface. He also took this time to plug in his Twitter and phone numbers and all kinds of other flop-shit.

Tina Knowles Files for Divorce

Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles has filed for divorce with her long-term husband Mathew. If you remember, a few months ago, some lady by the name of Alexsandra Wright claimed to be six-months pregnant with Mathew's child. No words on if this has anything to do with the divorce filing. Regardless, I really hope everyone involved and the family itself can get through this difficult time.

The couple has released a statement regarding the divorce.

“The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter.”

'Heat' – Fragrance by Beyoncé

Beyoncé releases her first fragrance, titled 'Heat'. If you stans remember, Bey recorded the song "Fever" for the movie The Fighting Temptations in 2003. She's re-recorded the song for the fragrance in a low tone and it SHITS! Tell your faves to #HIDEyourWIGS! She's about to slay the fragrance industry as well.  Smh, what hasn't this woman done? Alicia Keys Visits 'The View'

As you know, Alicia Keys released her new album, The Element of Freedom this week. The album is expected by HDD to sale between 330-350k units, which is pretty good if you ask me. Alicia has been promoting the album on numerous television shows, and she visited 'The View' earlier this week. She sat down and also performed her single "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart", as well as "Empire State of Mind, Part II".

Album Review: Alicia Keys - 'The Element of Freedom'

After a little over 2 years, Alicia Keys finally gives her fans a 4th studio album. The Element of Freedom, a follow-up to her multi-platinum 3rd album, As I Am, features 14 songs and is a mix of R&B, soul, pop, jazz & a lot more. As we posted earlier, the album features a collaboration with Beyoncé, and also includes background vocals by Drake on one song.

The album features production by Swizz Beatz, as well as Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, and Jeff Bhasker, among others. This album is definitely for the R&B lovers! Alicia delivers something much more different than ever before, while remaining herself and not stepping out of her comfort zone.

Stores NOT Stocking "Graffiti" ? & I'm MAD.

I'm not one to usually get my tongue twisted and upset about things, but there is one thing I absolutely HATE & that would have to be disrespectful and biased people. So I'm logging onto the net today only to find out that Fist Brown has ranted on Twitter about stores not stocking his new album, "Graffiti". Really bishes ? REALLY?

@MechanicalDummy im tired of this shit. major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the fuck do i gotta do...

This is when the sh&t just goes TOO far in my opinion. I understand what the "bullshit crime" he has committed, and YES, that may cause a fracture in his sales and some people may not want to support him anymore. But I don't think it is at all FAIR for a store to decide who will & won't support him. It's beyond any of our controls because they do have the right to decide if they want to sell a certain item or not, but I'm going to call this what it is. BULLSHIT. & I mean that with everything I have inside of me.  Some more of Chris' tweets about the situation:

The thing that pisses me off the most about the situation is not the FACT that people aren't buying/supporting the ALBUM, but the FACT that the seller is making the decision for the consumer. No ! No! No! As a MAJOR store; such as Wal-Mart; you should still place that album out on the shelves whether you as a manager or whomever support the artist or not. You cannot take away the right of every other customer within your store to support that artist & their art by not stocking the shelves. How BIASED & DISRESPECTFUL. That's when the wigs start to falling OWF!

With just a few days until Alicia Keys' new album release, producer Swizz Beatz and his now-separated baby mama Mashonda have used Twitter to tweet some very personal stuff about the Swizz & Alicia "affair" situation. Now, you know how these hoes celebrities be. I figured I should post these tweets before wigs get snatched and statements get retracted.

LMAO! That is so funny to me. Well, Rihanna shoots down the chart quicker than Love Sex Magic on the Hot 100, with her new album Graded F Rated R. This week, Rihanna pushed 53,544 even after massive promo on multiple shows. If Chris outsells her, I'm done. She should really just move back to Barbados and open up a coconut stand. Thoughts.?

#OOP! Chris Brown Calls BET Awards "WACK!"

YES Fist Brown! Throw that shade to get paid. Do the lacefront lift to get Ashanti's McDonald's shift. Chris Brown, who's new album Graffiti, hits stores today, did an interview for VIBE Magazine's recent issue, which also features rapper Drake. In the interview, he spoke about this years' BET Awards show, in which Chris did not attend.

“It was wack. I’ll keep it a hundred. The BET Awards was horrible. I was watching it, holding my face like, ‘Oh my God this is wack’. I didn’t get it. Michael Jackson was such a big entertainer. And I’m not dissing any of the artists who did the songs. But I was expecting a lot more energy for Michael. And BET Awards usually comes hard. I was expecting them to have Usher, Omarion and even Justin. And I was expecting Ne-Yo to dance. They were so bent on not getting me there that they messed up their own show.” [Source]

Chris, nobody is bent, regretful, shocked, mad, or pressed about not getting you. Your wig was not missed. But I digress. Sigh. I can't say I blame him for waiting til NOW to speak out. Hell, Rihanna waited 9 months to speak out about domestic abuse, so why can't Chris? The 2009 BET Awards was also pure ABUSE... suffrage... cruel... BET! I agree with Chris, because this year's show was a hot ass mess. Ciara was singing, or whatever you call that, while sitting down! Hopefully next year will be MUCH better.

As we close out this years industry season, we have sir Chris "Beater" Brown dropping his 3rd studio album on December 8th. It's been a rough year for Brown – recalling the events of *February 8th, 2009 – and the glue has definitely been melting under Chris' lace. 20/20 Interviews Chris Brown [Video]

Chris Brown did an interview with 20/20's Robin Roberts last week, responding to some of the questions asked about the incident with singer Rihanna and his thoughts on what she said on her 20/20 interview, which aired a few weeks ago.

Robin showed a remorseful Chris a tape of Rihanna's interview, where she stated she'd never heard the song he wrote for her after the incident. Well, somebody lying! Cause ugh...

 “She called when she first heard the song. And I mean, I’m not trying to say—call her any liar or anything like that. But I played the song for her when I first wrote it. And she cried.”

Is Rihanna lying? I mean, after all, she dident dew dhis. Dhis happent tew her, and et can happen tew anybodhe! Sigh. I'm so over hearing about these two. Hopefully all this album promo domestic violence awareness interviews will be over by the end of the year. Nevertheless, Chris Brown's 3rd studio effort, Graffiti, hits stores next Tuesday, December 8th.
